My recent trip to Changsha, China, included a stay at the Yueji Homestay Hotel (IFS Guojin Center Branch), primarily chosen for its location near Wuyi Square. The hotel’s proximity to the square proved incredibly convenient, allowing easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff were helpful and responsive both during pre-booking calls and in person.

Beyond the location, the room itself was surprisingly spacious and well-maintained. While breakfast wasn’t included, the abundance of nearby eateries more than compensated. My recent trip to Changsha offered a chance to experience three distinct hotels, each with its own character and appeal. Let’s start with the River Bank Hotel. Its prime location, coupled with the manager’s generous upgrade to a river-view room, made for a memorable stay.
The hotel’s proximity to popular attractions and excellent dining options was a significant plus. The room itself was spacious and clean, and the service was commendable. Check the affiliate link for booking details.
Note that the hotel only accepts guests with valid travel permits, residence permits, or ID cards issued in the Chinese mainland, and breakfast is not provided. A deposit of CNY 100.00 is required.
Next, I stayed at the Siman Light Luxury Hotel Changsha Wuyi Square. Its location near the Xiang River was beautiful, although finding it initially presented a slight challenge.
The room was spacious and comfortable, offering a stunning view. Public transport links were convenient, making exploring the city easy. Service animals are allowed upon request, and there is no deposit required.
