Recently renovated in 2024, Hotel Racine Shinmaebashi provided a surprisingly pleasant stay during my recent business trip to Maebashi. Located conveniently in the city’s business district, the hotel offers a modern and comfortable experience at a reasonable price – I paid around $50 per night.
The check-in process was smooth and efficient, from 3 PM to midnight, allowing for flexibility.
Check-out is before 10 AM. The room itself was spacious and impeccably clean, a point consistently praised by other reviewers. I appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi and the on-site massage service, a welcome treat after a long day of meetings.
The breakfast, also frequently lauded, was a delicious start to each day.

My recent stay at the Comfort Hotel Maebashi was delightful. Its convenient location near the train station was a major plus. For approximately $49 a night, I enjoyed a warm, cozy, and surprisingly spacious room (for a Japanese hotel).
The bathroom was also generously sized. The staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, providing outstanding service. I highly recommend their breakfast buffet!
The hotel’s proximity to both the train station and shopping areas made exploring Maebashi incredibly easy.
